Chess is a quality female who is one of the sweetest Chesapeakes around. She never meets a stranger. She is excellent in the duckblind and is also great on pheasants. Chess is the first Chesapeake in the National Field Retriever Association to earn its Master Field Retriever (MFR) title. She has a Qualifying JAM, 5 AKC Master passes, and 1 NAHRA Senior pass.
Chess has been bred to Dual AFC Gambler's Dilwyne-Stacked Deck in 1999. This breeding produced dogs with derby and hunt test placements as well as great hunting companions. In 2004 she was bred to DC AFC Distagon MH, we look forward to seeing these pups competition before long. 2005 will bring a breeding to Rainbow Farms Cajun***, which will be the last breeding for Chess.
